We have used this model step for 5 or 6 years for entering our van. Several others with some stiffness or mild disability have seen us use it and ask where we got it...and we keep our catalog in the door-pouch and give it to them to order their own. We learned after 5 or 6 months, not to position our step across a mild ditch without center support - we broke the initial structure, but it still functioned perfectly if totally supported on flat ground. We still use it in the house, but have purchased several to give, to replace the one we use in the house...and we position the step carefully to insure it is supported in the center.
This is my 3rd "big step" : one for the front door and one to replace the cracked one at another location. It is great for helping me navigate steps since I have an inflammatory disease that makes going up steps difficult.
Staying in touch with buyer.
My husband tripped and fell when stepping up a curb. I now keep the step stool in the back seat and when he decides the curb is too high, I get it out let him step up and replace it in the car. It is a bit heavy, but it's good and sturdy. And it's stable which gives him confidence to navigate the step. Thank you for this aid.
My husband is somewhat disabled and this step has really helped him step up to the house. The surprise is that I find it great too!
This is perfect for my mom who has a hard time getting into her bed & into my SUV... She has one & I just ordered another one so I can keep it in my car!!
I think it is great. I have used it several times to reach the top kitchen shelves. If anyone has fallen it is because they were careless. This is a perfect step, very safe and great to use.
Don't waste your money
We had it for about a month, and I stepped on it one day, and it broke the center front, which made it unstable. I trashed it and got a couple of large paver stones to stack in front of the door. Problem solved.
I purchased one and liked it so much that I ordered 2 more! Very sturdy and easy to move if needed
this step was bought for a person up in years, she has a back door but no step down to the ground, this is prefect for it, she tried it out and it was great thanks so much
The Mobility Step meets my needs perfectly. I had previously ordered a step from another vendor. I had to buy two steps so it would be wide enough. Too soon one step cracked and broke and then the other. The Mobility Step is wide enough and very sturdy. I highly recommend it.
Did not work for me. My cleaning lady almost fell. My wife fell. She had hip sergery .I gave it away.
Disappointed in Mobility Step
I ordered the mobility step looking forward to help at our front door. The step arrived broken in the box that was undamaged! I returned it for $15.10 shipping, asking for another and for the shipping to be refunded as it arrived broken. The second one came - broken too in an undamaged box. I emailed Customer Service x2 asking for a refund for the shipping and for a postage paid sticker to return the step. I do not want another step! If it cannot get to me unbroken, how is it going to handle the poundage it is supposed to carry! I will continue to attempt to resolve this issue, but buyer beware!
It’s a great help getting into the house, but it would be much more helpful if it were wider so that your two feet fit comfortably.
We use it on out front porch. It makes it so much easier to enter the house. I would highly recommend it.
Helps with the actual step, but it is not wide enough for my walker, so it is awkward to use.
Step in to Shower and also enter house
I bought one of these steps to help my husband and me get into our shower which has an 8" wall to step over. We wouldn't have been able to use the shower without it. Now I'm buying one to help me enter the house from the garage.
