Squirrel Baffle

I was having a lot of issues with squirrels climbing up the bird feeder pole. This item is made of plastic and works exceptionally well. Because it??s made of plastic, a squirt cannot stand on it without is bending down and causing the squirrel to fall off. After it goes right back into shape.

This was the perfect solution to the squirrels getting my birds' food. It was easy to install and solves the problem. So much nicer than rubbing vegetable oil on the shepherd's hook every day and not messy!!! I am so glad that I purchased this item. I am going to order another one because I got another feeder which will require squirrel proofing.

I use two, one inverted above the other for better protection. Disappointed that plastic becomes crystallized in the sun, easily cracks and breaks off in pieces and needs to be replaced after one or two years. Recently purchased four (two for immediate replacement and two for expected future replacement in one or two years). l would recommend this product to others unless they can find a similar product made with better sun resistant plastic.

Finally, my bird feeder is safe from the squirrels. I have tried many other devices and nothing else worked. Haven't seen a squirrel on that feeder since I installed it.

Had a feeder I could not keep squirrels (aka tree rats) away from. they can climb almost anything. This product works as advertised and it's amusing to watch the squirrels climb up under it and then try to figure out how to get around it --- point is they can't!!! This is 1/4 of the price of comparable metal products and seems to work as well. We'll have to see how it survives over time - but I did buy two so have one to spare. because it is light plastic I also used a zip tie around the pole at the top of this baffle so the squirrels could not push it up & out of the way...

Squirrels have tried to get past the baffle with no success. I would recommend that the baffle be a little larger.

Works well. Most of the time will keep squirrels off feeders

Product is good, but need's to have something above the disk so that the squirrels can not push it above the feeder
